Thanks to everyone who competed in the Tudor Trophy on Wednesday, 22nd June. The competition was contested by 89 golfers in bright and sunny summer weather on an immaculate Morecambe GC course.
The Trophy was won in magnificent fashion by home player Tom Winn with a new course record round of 60, narrowly missing out on a 59 with a nearly holed bunker shot on the 18th hole. Morecambe golfers dominated the event, taking 5 out of the 6 prizes on offer.
To cap a remarkable event, Morecambe Club Captain Mike Carney (pictured below) scored a hole in one at the 12th hole.
