Thanks to everyone who competed in the Tudor Trophy on Thursday 20th June. The competition was contested by 103 golfers in perfect summer weather on an excellent Kirkby Lonsdale course.
The Trophy was won by Heysham's Gavin Beckett, teeing off first thing in the morning, with a superb net 65. Home player Richard Russell came a close runner-up with a fine net 67 and Heysham's Paul Campbell third with 69.
The best gross score of the day was posted by Morecambe's Tom Winn with an excellent round of 69. Second and third placed gross scores were posted by Kirkby's Ian Robinson and Heysham's Billy Akrigg.

LGL Champion Golfer. The players who returned the eight best gross scores are being invited to take part in a mini matchplay knockout event to decide the new title of LGL Champion Golfer of the Year.
The Professional ran a nearest the pin competition on each of the par 3’s. The winners (receiving £50 each to spend at the Professional's Shop) were:
