The second Micklethwaite Masters was held at Kirkby Lonsdale Sands Golf Club on Sunday, 14th July 2024. On a grey and frequently drizzly day, the eventual winners with 43 points were Lansil LGL Team Captain, Paul Fraser-Gray and Nian Brindle, the last players out on the course.
Prizes for the first five placed pairs will be presented at the end of season Team Classic and Prize Giving at Kirkby Lonsdale GC on Saturday, 28th September 2024.
Many thanks again to everyone concerned at Kirkby Lonsdale GC for their top class organisation and hospitality on the day. Special mention to Club Manager David Towers, Professional Andy Duncan and everyone on the bar and catering team. Thanks also to the Greens staff for once again providing us with a beautifully prepared course for the event.
Finally, thanks again to all the players for supporting the event. We all hope for better conditions next Spring and we finally manage to to get the competition played at the first time of asking.

The Professional ran a nearest the pin competition on each of the par 3's. The winners (receiving a share of the entry to spend at the Professional's Shop) were:
